"Go tell the Spartans, passerby. That here, by Spartan law, we lie."
Over a thousand years ago, history wrote that great King Leonidas of Sparta
inherited the throne of the most powerful city know to mankind. The people of
Sparta were mighty, wise, and fearless. They were have said to be the very decendants
from Hercules himself. Those who were not strong enough as infants were discarded.
But now the Persians have threatened the Spartan people with slavery and plans to
take over the Spartan empire. King Leonidas must chose 3 0 0 men to fight against
thousands of the Persian Empire to protect the city of Sparta and the freedom of his people.
So, now is the time for you to decide. Are you prepeard for G L O R Y ?
“A new age has come, an age of freedom. And all will know that 300 Spartans gave their last breath to defend it..”
In the years before 480 B.C. King Leonidas I has spent several years reigning over the Spartan Empire, about 8 years after his marrige to Gorgo, the daughter of Cleomenes. The land is prosperous, the crops growing faster than usual and news has been recieved from the Persian Empire that there are plans to build up an army against the Spartan Empire. While the powerful prophets of Sparta predict a terrifying and disaterousdefeat, Leonidas is determined to defend his queen and people at any cost, now matters getting worse as the problem of the King and Queen gaining an heir to the throne before a war breaks out upon Sparta. He sends out his fleet or men to protect the Spartan people with the help of the nearby Athenians. They are destined and willing to sacrifice their lives to protect Sparta from the clutches of the God-Man King Xerses the Great, ruler of Persia and his army of Persians.
